This is the premise of The French Revolution: Part Deux, now running at Rhode Island's Perishable Theatre. Emily Jane O'Dell wrote the play as an undergraduate at Brown University in a workshop with Paula Vogel during the much publicized turmoil over Elian Gonzalez.
