Michael Evan Haney has joined the staff of Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park as associate artistic director. Haney has had a long association with the Playhouse, portraying Bob Cratchit in the company's first-ever A Christmas Carol before going on to direct the play for the company for the next nine years. He is the former artistic director of Pennsylvania's Allenberry Playhouse. Haney fills the post vacated by Charles Towers, who left the Playhouse last September to become artistic director at Merrimack Repertory Theatre in Massachusetts.
