Stepping down as the Globe Theatres' managing and producing director, Douglas C. Evans has accepted the post of executive director of the State of Connecticut Commission on the Arts. While a national search is underway for Evans's successor, Garet B. Clark will serve as the San Diego--based company's interim managing director.
