CORAL GABLES, FLA.: While Argentina reels through its current economic and political crisis, New Theatre premieres Smithereens, a politically charged drama by Argentine playwright Mario Diament. A love story among three friends in 1990s Argentina, the play unfurls against a backdrop of the "Dirty War" that started with the 1976 military takeover and resulted in the 30,000 deaths.
