DREAMGIRLS IN CONCERT, RECORDED live as a benefit for the Actors Fund, reveals a decidedly darker musical than the 1981 original Broadway cast recording of the Tony-winning Dreamgirls. That album highlighted the show's most popular numbers, emphasizing Tom Eyen's catchy lyrics and Henry Krieger's hummable tunes.
