DENVER, COLO.: Citing declined stock market earnings as the principal cause, the Denver Center Theatre Company closed its literary office at the end of June. According to spokesman Chris Wiger, DCT's main source of revenue is from stock-based investment of its endowment, and recent losses have made new-play development seem a suddenly less-than-necessary expenditure.
