THERE'S A LOT TO BE said for the venerable practice of ambulatory theatre, in which the audience travels from scene to scene, a la medieval drama. But theatre artists of today--consummate control-freaks, despite their Dionysian heritage--cannot resist the urge to clean up past motifs with digital-age tricks.
