To those for whom the words Prada, Givenchy and Chanel sound as foreign as the countries of their linguistic origins, the concept of high fashion suggests an exclusive culture of celebrity and glamor. Could the upper echelons of haute couture possibly collaborate with a mid-sized theatre company known for community outreach? Just ask Kenn McLaughlin, the managing director of Stages Repertory Theatre and a man who helped to bring the Houston company's ambitious, bilingual production of Blood Wedding to the attention of New York City--based designer Nicole Miller.
