As the producing director of the Working Theater, a company devoted to producing plays for and about working people, I was delighted to see "people's theatre" featured in American Theatre (Dec. '02). I was surprised, however, to discover that nowhere in the article--or the issue, for that matter--was the Working Theater mentioned.
