An award-winning actress, Alexander is a Francis Eppes Professor in the School of Theatre at Florida State University. She has earned Academy Award nominations for her roles in "Testament," "Kramer vs. Kramer," "All the President's Men" and "The Great White Hope." She has earned seven Tony Award nominations and six Emmy nominations during her career and won a Tony Award in 1969 for "The Great White Hope."
