After less than a year as managing director of Minneapolis's Guthrie Theater, Susan Trapnell resigned in January, citing personal reasons, and returned to Seattle, where she previously served as executive director of the Seattle Arts Commission and managing director of ACT Theatre. Guthrie artistic director Joe Dowling said his theatre's board of directors and senior management will evaluate the Guthrie's current administrative structure before making permanent plans for Trapnell's replacement.
