Poughkeepsie, N.Y.: The Hudson River Valley's transformation from a rustic haven of outdoor trails and changing foliage into a major new theatrical stop is due in no small part to some remarkable accomplishments in architecture. The newest kid on the block is Vassar College's new Center for Drama and Film, a $25-million edifice designed by Cesar Pelli of Cesar Pelli & Associates.
