90 YEARS AGO (1913) Walter Kerr is born in Evanston, III. He will go on to become the theatre critic for Commonweal, the New York Herald-Tribune and the New York Times, and will win the Pulitzer Prize in criticism. 75 YEARS AGO (1928) The Front Page claims its place among celebrated American comedies when it opens on Broadway this month.
