For two weeks this past July, Chicago's Goodman Theatre presented its first Latino Theatre Festival. The festival featured two extraordinary international companies, Compania Marta Carrasco of Spain and Teatro de Ciertos Habitantes (Certain Inhabitants' Theatre) of Mexico; the Goodman world premiere of Ana Castillo's first play; and three of the most prominent Latino theatre companies in Chicago today: Teatro Vista, Teatro Luna and Aguijon Theatre Company.
