In an issue so notable for its attention to other nations and cultures (e.g., Builders Association, Latino theatre, Cairo festival, Muslim You Can't Take It with You), it was embarrassing for the December Global Spotlight to suggest that Perth, the capital of Western Australia, was in New South Wales, a continent and a desert away, and that Ovid was Greek, not Latin.
In the article on the Ramayana that misplaced Ovid, it might also have been useful to tell readers that the epic is not exclusive to Java, but basic to all forms of performance throughout ...
