Reading Erik Ehn's "A Passage to Cairo," I was reminded of my experience during the 5th International Festival, which my wife and I attended in September 1993. I served as a member of the international jury while my wife, Dorothy Dodge Robbins, presented a paper on feminist writers of the absurd, a most challenging experience for all.
