BLOOMSBURG, PA.: When Theo Bleckmann (in photo) and Laurie McCants make their global connections on a fall flight to the newly constructed library in Alexandria, Egypt--the Bibliotheca Alexandrina--not even homeland security should give them any hassle over their Alexandria Carry-on. This new solo music-theatre piece--which checked in at Pennsylvania's Blocm-burg Ensemble Theatre March 18-21 before premiering in Egypt in October--packs in 12 songs and other essential items (lyre, flute, a whirling bull-roarer called a rhombos) to evoke the third-century B.C.
