New York City: Just in case the scene--hordes of Republicans teeming over New York City--may lack a certain liveliness, activists and artists will be staging protest theatre and other politically flavored performances during the GOP convention, from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2. Among the offerings: the UnConvention, a left-wing play festival to be mounted just blocks from Madison Square Garden, where the Republicans will be holding sway.
