Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y.: Moscow is on the Hudson July 8-Aug. 22 at Bard College's SummerScape 2004, taking place at the Frank Gehry--designed Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts. Director Francesca Zambello is staging Dmitri Shostakovich's only musical, Moscow: Cherry Tree Towers, which has been dubbed in certain quarters as "the Soviet Rent," because it focuses on the residents of a 1950s housing project after Stalin's death.
