The Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation has announced its 2005 awards supporting the work of emerging musical theatre creators. Individual awards went to Neil Bartram and Steven Lutvak, and to the composer/lyricist teams of Nathan Christensen/Scott Murphy, Michael L. Cooper/Hyeyoung Kim and Glenn Slater/Steven Weiner. New York City's Lark Play Development Center received an organization award for the development of a new musical, Barnstormer, by Douglas Cohen and Cheryl Davis.
