Two-time Tony-winner Anne Bancroft died in June in New York City at age 73. The Bronx-born actress--who was famed for her film work as well, most notably as Mrs. Robinson in Mike Nichols's The Graduate--won both of her Tony plaudits in plays by William Gibson, directed by Arthur Penn: Two for the Seesaw and The Miracle Worker.
