You now have more opportunities to sing, act and dance your way to a musical-theatre degree--or, if you are a composer, to have your musical be seen on its feet. And since educational institutions in about 37 of the 50 states already grant musical-theatre degrees (six of them at the graduate level), you probably don't even have to set foot in New York City to boost your career.
