LOS ANGELES: A diverse group of playwrights, theatre artists and justice workers from the U.S., Burkina Faso, Rwanda, Uganda and Congo are gathering Jan. 26-29 at the Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater to contemplate art and genocide. The event, "Arts in One World: A Consideration of Genocide," is a symposium of lectures, demonstrations, panels, films and performances, the goal of which is to share histories and experiences regarding the role of art in cause and recovery.
