I just read the wonderful story "There's Another Think There: The Rise and Fall and Rise of Seussical" (Oct. '05). It is so nice to hear about a musical getting a second (100th?) chance. So many of us musical-theatre performers have been in shows that were superb in workshop but then were produced to death by the time they hit Broadway. I was part of Anna Karenina, whose workshop was simple and moving with a wonderful score--but by the time we got to Circle in the Square it just wasn't the same. Sadly, Anna never got another chance in LORT theatres.
