NEW YORK CITY: Simi Linton, author of the memoir My Body Politic (published this month by University of Michigan Press) led a November panel called "Casting Tradition to the Wind: Disability and Theatre in the 21st Century" at Columbia University to examine strategies for the "integration of disability into the creative world of theatre." Linton feels this is a signal moment for new collaborations, and her outlook is optimistic.
