Beware of purchasing books on a whim: You may find you've generated a musical, accidentally. That's what happened to Virginia-based actor Matt Conner, who made an impulse purchase--"I thought, you know, everybody should have a Poe anthology"--and is now the composer of Nevermore, running at Arlington's Signature Theatre through Feb. 26.
