DENVER: Kent Thompson is at it again. Hoping to do at Denver Center Theatre Company, where he is the new artistic director, what he did in Alabama with Southern Writers' Project, Thompson has engineered a new-play program that, he hopes, will generate exciting new works, especially by minorities--and bolster fundraising for a brand-new festival of plays titled Colorado New Play Summit.
