NEW YORK CITY: Meredith Monk is in a class by herself, the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts decided when it recently acquired the archive of the pioneering composer, director and choreographer. "Monk's boundary-breaking work has inspired us to rethink the way we classify artists' collections at the library," says Jacqueline Z.
