Brookhaven budget is still a political football.

It's been a rough winter with the price shocks during January and February of 2000. Oil heat research at Brookhaven National Laboratory hasn't been a walk in the park, either. It never is, or at least it seems that way. Recently we interviewed Roger MacDonald, the senior oil heat research program manager at the laboratory, to find out what's been happening.
