Deliveries from Mack Trucks through April 2001 totaled 8,812 vehicles, down 35 percent from the 13,603 units delivered during the same period last year. Deliveries in South America were up dramatically, but were offset by a significant reduction in North America, according to company figures. No reason for the reduction in sales was given.
