Pacific Oil Conference to focus on oil heat. (Dateline).(Brief Article)

Organizers of the Pacific Oil Conference and Trade Show, scheduled for Sept. 17-19 at the Reno (Nev.) Hilton, are attempting to revive the oil heat focus in the region. The advent of the National Oilheat Research Alliance and the recent public awareness of the advantages of oil heat have re-energized oil heat in the West, the organizers say, and now the POC has expanded to offer a focus on oil heat as it hopes to become the oil heat show of the West.

Seminars, a trade show specialty area, including presentations and demonstrations, a NORA update, and social events will be featured at the POC this year. Speakers will include Bob Hedden and John Huber, as well as a presentation on emerging technologies and a review of state fire marshal requirements for oil heat...
