Andy McMillan, president and CEO of Teletrol Systems Inc., gave a keynote address titled "Building A Better World through Better Building Automation" at the Third Annual ASHRAE - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Career Fair in October.
McMillan's address focused on a variety of technology independent issues involved in generating significant impact in BAS projects and in the larger environment. His presentation addressed issues of team development, lifelong learning, disciplinary diversity and effective leadership. He also offered attendees a unique perspective on the BACnet value proposition drawn from his extensive experience with open communications protocols in industrial automation.
