Environmental Support Solutions, Tempe, Ariz., has received the Environmental Business Journal's merit award for achievements in information technology in 2003.
George Stubbs, senior editor with the Environmental Business Journal said ESS' ability to raise $3.5 million in capital, as well as the number and variety of the company's six new product releases during 2003, were exemplary and worthy of recognition.
"It is difficult in this day and age for a company to raise capital as ESS was able to do;' he said. "ESS has also introduced a line of products that would be impressive even if rolled out over the course of a few years; ESS managed to do so in a year."
