Fugro Pelagos wins NOAA data contract.(GOVERNMENTCONNECTION)

Fugro Pelagos Inc., San Diego, landed a potential $50 million contract with the National Oceanic and Atmos pheric Administration (NOAA). The five-year award calls on Fugro Pelagos to provide hydrographic surveying as well as related support services. The company already received a nearly $6 million task order for a project covering remote portions of Alaskan waters.

The contract, while covering a fixed period and having a stated spending limit, provides for an indefinite quantity of supplies or services. Government customers place orders with the vendor as supplies or services are needed.
