APPLIED GEOGRAPHICS INC. (APPEGO)
The Essex Planning, Zoning and Health Departments implemented a GIS Online Property Viewer for use by staff and the general public. The system is oriented toward parcel mapping and enables the overlay of a variety of data layers, including zoning, wetlands, FEMA flood-plains, village boundaries and aerial photography. AppGeo is hosting the site. Also, AppGeo developed an electronic Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan Web application for the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. The Web site will be used by all cities and towns in Massachusetts to develop, maintain and report their Comprehensive Emergency Management Plans.
