Topping 86.9 inches (247 millimeters) of lift height, Caterpillar 232 and 242 vertical lift skid-steer loaders reach up and over high truck sideboards to load fertilizer, mulch and topsoil. Reach extends 28.5 inches, permitting faster, even loading, and eliminating repositioning. The models feature Caterpillar's Quick Coupler System, which lets operators quickly attach work tools, including several augers and other Cat WorkTools, often without leaving the cab. The 232 and 242 are ergonomically designed with joystick controls, a hand throttle, and roomy, easy-entrance cabs. Routine maintenance tasks are easily accessible inside the engine compartment and outside the machine.
