Ford Power Products announced a 1.6-liter Ford engine for industrial OEM markets. The 1.6L engine, which replaces the popular Ford 1.3L engine, meets 2003 California Air Resources Board emissions standards for large, spark-ignited engines. The engine, model TSG-416, can operate on gasoline, natural gas, or LP gas. Potential applications for the 1.6L engine include sweepers, lift equipment, wood chippers, generator sets, forklifts, irrigation pumps, concrete saws and lawn/turf equipment. Specifications include the following:

Bore and Stroke--3.23 inch x 2.97 inch (82.1 mm x 75.5 mm)
Displacement--1.6 liter (97.5 CID)
