Publicis Dialog took over daily management of ASIC on July 1. In a letter to professional members, ASIC President Brian Vinchesi wrote:
"In 1999, JWT Communications conducted market research and strategic planning with the ASIC Board of Directors. One of the recommendations of the strategic planning process was that ASIC should go to a full-time management firm with an executive director. This was suggested to help move ASIC forward and raise funds to promote our association to a higher level of recognition.
