Home Depot televised commercials for its John Deere line of consumer yard and garden equipment on April 15, but it had been selling the products since January.
The products include four walk-behind mowers (JA 62, JS 63B, JS 63C, JS 63); three trimmers (C1200 curved shaft, S1400 straight shaft, C1600 brush cutter); and three trimmer attachments (tiller, blower, edger). Most of the stores are carrying two of the walk-behind mowers, some have three, and none have all four. Starting Sept. 1, John Deere will also be offering a 16-inch chain saw through Home Depot. However, you won't find any commercial products at Home Depot.
