A proactive war on 'green' terrorism?(Viewpoint)

The concerns of Project EverGreen can be compared to those of President George W. Bush. Why? Because EverGreen wants to move aggressively against imminent threats to the welfare of its constituents--much like Bush used the threat-of-terrorism rationale to invade Iraq last year.

On the one hand, Iraq supposedly possessed "weapons of mass destruction." On the other, certain sectors of the American public are plotting "pesticide bans, water and planting restrictions and product elimination due to noise and pollution regulations," according to a press release.

Paul McDonough, one of the co chairs of Project EverGreen, claims that "... we need to defend our industry against imminent threats" like restrictive regulations that recently were passed in...
