Blake Landscapes is on "the cutting edge of societal revolution," to coin a phrase from one of the nation's most popular broadcasters.
Loudoun County, which is Blake's home base, is also the fastest-growing county in the country. Because most of the population commutes to work (many to nearby Washington, D.C.), the highways and byways are overcrowded to the point of saturation.
Needless to say, this frustrates Blake President Jay Frye, Jr., his managers and--most important--his crews. They were losing so much time traveling from one account to another that it began having a negative impact on the company's profitability.
