A variety of universities demonstrated new technologies for use in the medical device industry. The experience was invaluable for Dr Gera Troisi, of Brunel University, who commented, "We found the Technology Transfer Showcase an excellent means for industry to learn more about our biomedical engineering products and technologies.
The highlight of the event was our technology brokerage session. This generated real contacts for us. The speed-networking style was an efficient means of communicating."
