New from M.A. Ford, (Davenport, IA) is the TuffCut[R] XR, 4-flute Ball Nose solid carbide high-performance endmill for heavy rough milling applications, as well as for finishing cuts in virtually all materials. Extensive field-testing has proven these tools consistently outlast the competition as much as 2:1 in feed rate and tool life. The styles include stub and standard flute lengths in sizes ranging from 1/8" - 1" and 3mm - 12mm. Their unique flute geometry design allows for increased feeds and speeds while reducing harmonics.
