The upgraded line of KC9225 inserts have an enhanced post-coat finishing to reduce chip hammering and built-up edge conditions. It extends tool life and prevents insert damage in applications demanding continuous to lightly-interrupted cuts at high cutting speeds. The inserts are recommended for applications in the medical and food industries as well as flange manufacturing, the chemical industry, and oil and petrochemical businesses, or wherever cutting performance in stainless steels is required Kennametal Inc.
