New Jersey funds training, certification
Modern Applications News, August, 2005
The New Jersey State Department of Labor and Workforce Development has made available state funded training programs to help improve quality service in industries such as manufacturing.
The state recognizes using funds for ISO training purposes will benefit growth in the economy. Also, they use quality service tools to maintain the structure of jobs within companies. Once certified, a company could potentially attract more international business.
"Not only does certification of ISO-9000 increase international quality control, but it also generates a need to create new departments which can provide more jobs," says Rafael Forero, quality control manager of TCP Reliable Inc., Edison, NJ. Since TCP Reliable enrolled into the state funded training program and became certified, the company has hired several new employees in areas of engineering, management, and production.
