FTS releases color guide.(FTS Flexographic Application Guide in Popular Pantone Colors from Flexographic Trade School, Pantone Inc)

The Flexographic Trade School (FTS), Charlotte, N.C., teaming with Pantone, Inc., under license and eight vendor sponsors, unveils its "FTS Flexographic Application Guide in Popular Pantone Colors." Created to assist in matching popular Pantone colors used in flexographic printing, the guide provides designers and printers with a tool as to how a color will appear on different substrates.
The Guide contains 48 popular flexographic packaging colors printed on two different Raflatac, Inc., pressure sensitive substrates, 60# gloss and 60# matte coated. The Pantone colors were selected based on ink companies' popular use and Pantone's experience. The guide has 11 base colors, 21 centerline colors, and 16 blends, including browns and grays.
