The global network of centers, open since 1993, now offers Electronic Product Code (EPC)/RFID compliance and business design services to consumer products manufacturers. Checkpoint engineers work with clients to develop plans that address RFID and EPC technology, network design issues, and implement systems. The company says its focus now is to develop RFID and EPC solutions for customers to meet compliance mandates from companies like Wal-Mart. Checkpoint Systems, Inc. is based in Thorofare, N.J.
