Alliance Packaging, Renton, Wash., and New Toyo International Holdings Ltd., Singapore, are forming a strategic alliance that includes agreements to exchange technology and develop joint marketing and manufacturing projects. Their first customer is Nike Inc., Beaverton, Ore., which has awarded the strategic alliance with a two-year contract for their corporate box needs in Vietnam.
A holding company has been formed and registered in Singapore, Toyo Alliance Pte Ltd. The event was formalized with a signing in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) last month.
