Clemson sets fall courses: flexo, corrugated, color.(Brief Article)

Clemson University plans three seminars for its fall 2004 symposia schedule. Flexographic Process Printing, held Aug. 25-27, will cover many topics including color, press characterization, process control, proofing, image engineering, and an overview of the flexographic process. Breakout sessions cover press optimization, densitometry, color and spectrophotometry, dot gain, fingerprint analysis and press-side color evaluations.
Fundamentals of Quality Print on Corrugated, held Sept. 15-17, gives an overview of the elements of the printing system, including board liners, anilox rolls, doctor blades, inks and plate systems. Breakout sessions will cover ink handling on press, printing and analyzing press characterizations and elements of the printing system....
