Boise Cascade Holdings LLC reports first quarter 2006 income from operations of $30.5 million, compared to $34.2 million for the fourth quarter of 2005. In first quarter 2005, Boise Cascade reported income from operations of $81.7 million. First quarter 2006 net income was $0.1 million, compared with $42.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2005, which included $47.2 million of income for special items.
This compares with net income of $64.7 million for the same period a year ago, which included $15.2 million of income for special items.
